Frequently asked questions
What counts as a metered event?
One metered event = one usage record you send to the metering API (the call that debits a credit or advances a meter). A reservation counts as one event, at commit. Entitlement checks and balance reads, sandbox activity, idempotent retries that dedupe to the same event, and webhook deliveries are never counted.
What happens if I exceed my included events?
Nothing breaks. On Pro and Scale, additional events are billed at a simple overage rate ($2 / 100k on Pro, $1 / 100k on Scale). On Free, you keep running — we reach out about upgrading rather than cutting you off.
Do you charge for sandbox usage?
No. All sandbox activity is free on every plan, so you can build and test without touching your event count.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade whenever you like — pricing is usage-based, so you are never locked into a tier.
