# Pricing

Pay only for what you meter. Every account gets **$2 of usage credit a month — about 100,000 events — free**. After that it's a flat **$2 per 100k events**, pay as you go. No monthly minimum, no plan to pick, every primitive included on every plan.

## What counts as a metered event

One metered event = one usage record you send to the metering API — the call that debits a credit or advances a meter. A reservation counts as one event, at commit.

- **Counted:** usage records sent to the metering API; reservations (once, at commit).
- **Free — never counted:** entitlement checks & balance reads; all sandbox activity; idempotent retries (deduped); webhook deliveries.

## Every plan includes

Full credit ledger (blocks, burn-down, idempotency, audit log), real-time entitlements, reservations, subscription lifecycle (prepaid / postpaid / rollover / pause / resume), webhooks + idempotency, and sandbox + live environments.

## FAQ

**What happens after my free monthly credit?** Nothing breaks, and there's no plan to upgrade to. Every account gets $2 of usage credit each month (~100k events). Past that, events bill at a flat $2 / 100k, pay as you go. Running real volume? Talk to us about committed pricing with volume discounts.

**Are there plans to choose between?** No. It's a single pay-as-you-go account — no tier to pick, nothing to upgrade. You only pay for events past your free monthly credit.

**Is there a free trial?** There's no separate trial — every account gets $2 of usage credit each month (~100k events), free, with all core primitives and no credit card to start.

**Do you charge for sandbox usage?** No. All sandbox activity is free on every plan.

**Do you support SSO, SLAs, and compliance?** Yes — these are part of Enterprise: dedicated single-tenant deployments with SAML SSO, an uptime SLA, encryption at rest, VPC / on-prem options, and Datadog / Prometheus export, provisioned per contract. Our SOC 2 audit is in progress.
